Vice President Maura Weiler brings over 30 years of combined writing, editing, and project management experience to the Summa Franchise Consulting team. She is a former newspaper columnist, author of the Simon & Schuster novel Contrition, a professional artist, and a former film development executive at 20th Century Fox’s Blue Tulip Productions, where she helped develop the screenplays for such blockbuster films as Speed, Twister, and Minority Report. Maura’s expertise in writing and the visual arts enables her to bring a creative eye and a practiced hand to all of Summa’s content deliverables.

Ms. Weiler has two Lean process improvement certifications and a proven track record as a strategic project management leader in the healthcare, service, and tech industries. Her project management work spans various disciplines, including finance, operations, clinical processes, workplace design, customer flow and satisfaction, and safety. She is a successful entrepreneur with a background in training and mentoring entrepreneurs on establishing and managing operations to drive financial results. Maura has a particular interest in cultivating customer relationships and motivating teams to work together toward creating streamlined solutions that promote business growth.

In addition to writing and editing, Maura has a passion for learning about and becoming a spokesperson for emerging businesses. She is a popular speaker, trainer, writing instructor, and an award-winning author.
